F$£€ing Liverpool!

Check out this article by David Conn of the Guardian.

Seems the new(ish) American owners of Liverpool want more of the cake. It actually looks like a kind of socialist set-up in U.S. sports (All of them own sports franchises in the US, where their sports operate very strict systems of sharing money, including ticket money, merchandising, TV rights, in fact all revenues). The them here being specifically the owners of Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Could this be part of the plan to milk the Premier League for all it's worth? Good luck. Arseholes.

P.S. Manchester United and Chelsea have already voiced their opposition to such plans. A little humility from some of the big guys, maybe? I wonder what Man City's owners think.....

  1. It will never happen in the Premiership. Look what's it done to the Spanish league, the other teams don't have a look in now that Barca and Real demand most of the cash. Just look at the example of the Scottish league when a few teams have more cash (that should probably be had now) than the rest. That really created an exciting league for all to watch?!?
